The Ultimate Product

If you’ve ever built anything that went nowhere you’d know how much that sucked.

But did you consider this?

While you built that thing, you learned. While you failed, you learned.

While you perhaps got some traction and then it all flopped, you learned.

If you were open about what you were building, you probably built a following, a few relationships, and your mindset, too.

It is all this that you can apply to any future endeavor you might take.

Remember, you are the ultimate product. And as long as you’re learning, nothing is wasted.

That said, you should probably try and be smart about it, and work on things that even if they flopped, left you with something. Followers, relationships, skills, insight, you name it.

Heck, even pain and frustration. There’s some very potent and highly flammable fuel right there. Capitalize on it. 🔥

Now, you built something that went nowhere. Next, build something that does go somewhere.

How do you do that? Easy. Do not build something that goes nowhere. Build loads of things, then take a pick. Or let the winner pick itself. Increase the surface area for luck.

You can help this by having a framework for picking the stuff you work on. More on that later.
