New framework for SEO

Yesterday, I considered my foray into SEO a failed experiment. Gave up.

Today, I changed my mind. And will take a new approach.

Instead of “doing SEO” I will look for topics that have overlap in two ways:

• First - These topics need to be related to what I’m selling
• Second - These topics, I need to have a DEEP interest in. Not enough that they are interesting to potential users or clients.

The second point, for now, I cannot stress enough.

Obviously, SEO stuff will still apply and I will try to apply what I’ve learned.

The end goal will be to create articles that are sufficiently valuable to stand on their own, almost as products in their own right.

Other “features” to take into account:

• Any piece of content should be timeless
• Any piece of content should be shareable
